Parent/Student Registration Information Meeting

Parents and students are invited to attend an informational session on Tuesday, January 16th at 6 pm. Counselors will share information regarding graduation requirements, course offerings, and additional opportunities. Josh Floyd with WCC will also present information regarding dual credit and the associate degree program. Parent Connect and Americorps will also participate and offer dinner and child care if needed. Dinner will be offered in the school cafeteria at 5 pm.

Registration for 2018-2019 School Year

Counselors will be working with students during the next few months to evaluate transcripts and register for the next school year. Students will be contacted individually by their assigned counselor. Mrs. Mishoe will be registering current 9th graders for 10th grade, Mrs. Brady will be registering current 10th graders for 11th grade and Mr. Stanberry will be registering current 11th graders for their senior year.

Southwest Virginia Governor's School

Due to the bad weather, the representative from SWVGS will be her on February 6, 2018 to talk to 10th grade gifted students that are interested in learning more about the program. Interested students should sign up in the student services office and check with Mrs. Mishoe for additional information.

Applications for Governor's School are due to Mrs. Mishoe by Friday, February 22, 2018

PSAT Score Reports Assembly

The assembly for students that took the PSAT this year in October will be held Friday January 26th in the auditorium. Mrs. Brady will provide scores as well as information regarding understanding the report.

Jefferson College of Health Sciences

A representative from Jefferson College of Health Sciences will be here on February 1st at 11 am to speak with students interested in learning more about the college and programs offered. Please sign up in Student Services if you plan to attend.

Freshman Class Ring Assembly

There will be an assembly on February 5th at 9 am for freshman. Information and forms will be presented regarding ordering class rings for those students that may be interested.

Orders will be accepted for girls on February 8th and for boys on February 9th.

Senior Cap and Gown pictures

Cap and gown individual pictures and group picture will be made on March 1st. Please see general announcements or speak with Mrs. Williams in student services for additional information.
